Internet prices Seem lower than local prices. Why?
We at ALL FLORIDA Hearing work hard every day to bring hearing aids easier, more conveniently and cheaper to Pensacola. We also believe you deserve to hear well with them once you get them. The guys on the internet are just opportunistic middlemen, and they don't work very hard!  To make things seem cheaper to you, they have to do something extraordinary! They leave out the fitting and the service and try to convince you that hearing devices will magically help your hearing right out of the box, No fitting, No service, No adjustments!. This is how a web-seller can fool you into buying his mail-order hearing instruments. 

1. Middlemen never ever add value to a transaction!

How to Buy Digital Hearing Instruments:
The Right Way:
When you buy from the right local provider, you get more than just hearing aids. You get in-office service,  fitting, programming,  in-office repairs, the personal experience and expertise of the staff plus the convenience of a local office right down the street and open when you need them. Your hearing success depends on the quality and experience of this provider and his staff. Whether or not you think you will use all of the services that come with locally fitted hearing aids, they are still a bargain when you need them ...and you will need them with hearing aids.

The Wrong Way:
When you buy from an internet seller, it boils down to hearing aids, a shipping box, and an assurance that satisfaction is just a phone call away. Oh No It's Not! The internet seller doesn't evaluate your hearing, or find out your needs, and in most cases just mails you some hearing aids in a shipping box. This takes a lot less time than we spend with you on just the first of many visits to come. So the price seems really good... for now... but you haven't yet realized that you just paid a middleman a significant profit for doing nothing. He isn't going to be able to provide you any fitting expertise or after-service care. Chances are you won't even be able to find out the physical address of the company taking your money.  

As you watch your mail box wondering if your hearing aids are going to arrive.....you're not thinking about the warranty,  custom programming or whether the internet seller will be there the next time you click on his link in cyber space ...but you should, it's awfully risky. The internet sellers say that you won't need anyone's help, and that local providers are eager to give away free service and advice for your hearing aids if you somehow did need it, but that's just not the truth. So you click the buy button, and it is so easy! At first you'll get a warm feeling when you think you cut out $2,000 to $4000 of the cost of high tech hearing aids. Worth it? Only if you're very lucky or exceptionally insensitive and uncaring. So there you go, that's why internet hearing aids Seem so cheap.

2. Internet sellers are not honest about how hearing aids work. We want you to know so you don't waste a significant chunk of money on unworkable hearing aids.

There is no way that internet sellers can effictively adjust your hearing aids to your own voice, your environment or the physical characteristics of your ears over the telephone. You will never be able to take advantage of the features today's hearing aids have to offer. When later you realize that you will have a frequent need for cleanings, adjustments, replacement parts, custom tuning and repairs, then you will really understand why internet purchasing doesn't work for hearing aids. If you choose internet the first time, we know that you'll choose a real provider the second time... but by then, you will be much poorer.

3. It may be now, or it may be later; but you will eventually understand why it is wrong to buy hearing aids from an internet re-seller!

Oh No, I've got a problem what can I do?  In late 2009, most internet hearing aid sellers began to close down and sell off their inventory due to the hearing aid manufacturers publishing face to face fitting guidelines. If you've recently made an internet purchase, our recomendation is to immediately try to return them. If it is too late, or your seller has already vanished, our recomendation is to try to find an experienced local provider willing to sell you services. Most of the local providers we have spoken with tell us that they won't touch internet hearing aids. We will try if you have Siemens or Rexton hearing aids, but please understand that we are especially devoted to our own patients who purchased included services. Also regardless of what the internet seller told you, Siemens and Rexton do not honor warranties or loss and damage coverages on hearing aids not sold through their authorized face to face distribution network.

If you want ears that hear, you need to find trustworthy local service like you find at All Florida Hearing. You can't expect to hear well without the proper fitting and the local services of an experienced provider. We believe that the #1  Critical Factor in hearing aid satisfaction is the human element. This factor is so essential that hearing aid dispensers will often boast of "Brand" Anniversary or other misleading dates that imply experience, but have nothing to do with recent nature of the local office's start date or the staff providers licensing dates.
